MMI Interview practice, King’s College London
This workshop provided interview practice with students across Hackney London.
Medical students from King’s College London helped students understand the process. Deborah Streatfield provided information on alternatives if things do not work out and covered Graduate Medicine, Re-application and gap year plans. The host of the day was Clapton Girls School, in Hackney.
EMDP : The Extended Medical Degree Programme. With more pastoral support, contextual grades and a six year long opportunity to join the medical profession, as opposed to the normal five year course.
Later these students join the Ambassador programme to help other new students from deprived backgrounds to gain access to the medical profession.
